Did you know that microbes (bacteria, fungi, molds, viruses, and yeast) thrive at 100-104 degrees Fahrenheit, at which most wax pots are maintained?
Re-using applicator or “double dipping”, no gloves, uncleaned tweezers, reuse of any disposable items will contaminate wax products. The contaminated wax would have to reach 212 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 20 minutes to kill most microbes, but even that won’t kill spores. And most wax pots are not designed to reach this temperature.

Best results are achieved when the hair is ½ inch long, however the hair must be at least ¼ inch long to wax, approximately 6 weeks from your last waxing
Waxing immediately before and during your period will be more painful
Avoid hot treatments for 24 hours after waxing such as: bath, sauna, sun bed
Exfoliate the day before, the day after and continuing to do so a couple times a week will help avoid ingrown hairs
Ibuprofen can be taken 30 minutes prior to treatment
We use hard wax, soft wax to remove hair. All our products are made for sensitive skin with skin soothing ingredients
CAUTION: clients taking oral or using topical skin thinning medication such as Retin- A, Renoval or Accutane should wait 6 months after discontinuing the use of these medication before you can wax
